Today while standing in the middle of the Garden of Even I Don't Know What This Is - as Bill tried to weed around me - I noticed my first backyard Monarch caterpillar! I'd been meaning to check the milkweed for butterfly eggs for several weeks now... (milk, butter, eggs? hmmm...) And look what happened in the meantime.
Adult form of Large Milkweed Bug. (nymphs shown in previous post)
