A Japanese beetle is one of only a few creatures that I will kill. ~ Aren't they pretty when they're dead? ~ They are alien, invasive, and destructive. (I discovered that dropping them into a cup of water with soap containing tea tree oil and lavender lets them die quickly with pleasant thoughts.)Be careful brushing them directly from flowers into the cup - I was distraught to notice a sweet little crab spider had also perished.
