Today I had mosquitoes on my mind - and everywhere else around the yard. (I went to Darby Creek to escape.) I need to post something more uplifting ~ Many people have said they like the colors and cooler temperatures of autumn, and I do - But the sounds of cicadas, and especially crickets, bring a sadness to me and anxiety from memories of dark mornings and "back to school." So here are some late summer-to-fall visitors for which to look forward:
