What a life: Sucking plant juice from a communal straw under a patio umbrella, while others tend to you because they actually want your honeydew! Aphids may be considered pests, but damage to plants is slight, and they attract beneficial bugs. And I doubt we will ever have so many that they will leave me bound and gagged, crying "Aphids! Aphids in the garden!" (as in Gary Larson's The Far Side)
